Algorithmization of the processes of calculation of material damage from fires

The article highlights the problems associated with the determination of material damage caused by fire. The aim of the research is to improve the procedures of making managerial decisions by officials of state fire supervision on the calculation of material damage from fires for different types of protection objects. Lack of adequate assessments of damage from fires leads to the fact that the value of material damage is greatly underestimated and is not considered within the framework of risk-oriented approach. Questions of development of models and algorithms for the purposes of automation of processes of calculation of material damage from fires, caused to property and objects of construction on the basis of calculation methods are considered. Introduction of computational methods of estimation of damage from fires into activity of supervising bodies will allow to estimate more correctly material consequences of fires, that in turn increases efficiency of acceptance of practical administrative decisions in the field of fire safety.
