Modes of Copyright in the Information Library Sphere

The article presents a brief analysis of the main modes of using the protected works required for educational, scientific, informational and creative purposes. The strategic documents stipulating the development of free use of works for non-commercial purposes are defined. Trends in the implementation of law-making in the field of copyright protection, clarification of the regimes of exceptions and restrictions for archivists, librarians, representatives of the academic community, etc. are considered. The work shows that within the framework of the digital environment development, the question of modifying copyright regimes becomes more relevant as it affects the interests of a wide range of users. Examples of user's conversions to information and library institutions for access to electronic resources, reproduction of documents (copying, scanning), obtaining digital copies from remote repositories are summarized.
