Abstract

The article analyses various approaches to the definition of the concept of automated vehicle. The correlation between the concepts of automated vehicle, artificial intelligence, unmanned vehicle and robot is studied. The definitions of the concepts of automated driving system and standard operating environment are given, and their influence on the formation of automation levels of an automated vehicle is revealed. The possibility of practical application of automation levels is considered.
