Factors and sources of risks in the implementation of an IT project based on materials from an expert survey (continuation of the research)

Abstract

This article presents the results of a study of the genesis of factors and sources of risks in the implementation of IT projects. The purpose of the study is to study the risks in the implementation of IT projects. Hypothesis - when implementing IT projects, risks with genesis in the plane of social and competence factors prevail over technological factors. To achieve this goal, the authors developed a risk ranking matrix, which made it possible to identify and predict risks during the development and implementation of an IT project. The task of the first stage of the study was to obtain a set of data necessary to identify the median point of view, as well as to identify extremes to assess the objectivity of the information received. The second stage was a consistent transition to measurement and statistical data processing, followed by the derivation of the average expert opinion and verification.
