Modelling the impact of transformational factors in Russian regions

Abstract

In the article the authors have developed and tested a model of comprehensive assessment of the impact of digitalization and sanctions on the social development of Russian regions, taking into account regional specifics. The model demonstrates that, despite the positive effect of digitalization, the persistence of sanctions pressure can negatively affect the dynamics of social development. The modeling results emphasize the importance of an integrated approach to social management, including measures to reduce sanctions pressure, targeted use of digital technologies to solve social problems and implementation of long-term sustainable development strategies.
