Determinants of Russian People Participation in Crowdfunding

This article identifies socio-demographic and behavioral determinants influencing the propensity of Russians to support crowdfunding projects. The analysis undertaken is based on the method of correlation and regression. The research findings will be useful for defining the strategy of a fundraising campaign and managing a crowdfunding project. The work also reveals the share of the population that participated in crowdfunding, as well as the potential growth of crowdfunding audience in Russia.
