The information component of the institution of money in the context of digitalization

Abstract

Money is genetically linked to information and has always been its carrier, which allowed it to become a unique universal institution with an appropriate mechanism of reproduction, evolving according to the level of technological development. Modern innovations in the field of digital technologies have led to a multiple complication and increase in information coming from the institution of money, which requires its systematization. The article shows that the modern institution of money produces information necessary for an individual and a company to successfully socialize and go through a life cycle; information about the quality of the national currency; information about the position of the state in international integration processes.
