Abstract

The article analyzes the current methods of digital demography, including GIS technologies, big data analytics, machine learning algorithms, agent-based modeling, and demographic data visualization. Drawing on the materials of the “Digital Demographic Observatory” project, the paper discusses the prospects for creating an integrated system for monitoring demographic processes in Russian regions. Particular attention is paid to the scientific and practical significance of digital demography in enhancing demographic policy and managing the socio-economic development of territories.
