Unified information database based on cash and terminal operations

Abstract

The paper discusses the procedure and technology for calculating the amount of payment for purchased goods and services, using cash registers and terminal payment devices, sold and used in shopping centers, stores and other facilities representing various kinds of goods and services to citizens of the country. Based on these technologies, it is proposed to create a unified information database system for all cashier and terminal operations that would allow to accumulate and save all information in a single centralized database, situated in one center. In other words, such system implies specific space where all information from all purchases will be sent to a single center and stored in a single database for subsequent use of these data in various other areas of government activity. The paper also discusses and describes the advantages and possibilities of using the proposed system in various other fields.
