Abstract

The article provides definition of socio-economic concept of “innovation resistance”. The authors consider specific features of innovation resistance affecting formation of information society and knowledge-driven economy, as well as possible ways to overcome it. Importance of overcoming innovation resistance as a driver of socio-economic well-being of the society is emphasized.
