Abstract

This article was first published in 2007, in the first issue of UNESCO today (Journal of the German Commission for UNESCO) [1]. It studies the role young people play in implementing the sustainable development trends. Observations and conclusions of the author are rather of theoretical character and deal with German young people. The publication offers comments to study of J. Godemann that helps get an idea of how problems related with the attitude of young people to sustainable development issues are solved in Great Britain.
