Abstract

In the article, based on the classification of artificial intelligence technologies, the authors propose approaches to the civil liability of the developer. The authors proposed the use of three basic approaches, namely, guilty responsibility, responsibility regardless of guilt and responsibility, based on a risk-oriented approach. When determining the type of responsibility for the actions of artificial intelligence, a classification of artificial intelligence technologies on five grounds is proposed. This study has shown the lack of a unified approach to solving the issue of civil liability for the actions of artificial intelligence. In conclusion, the authors come to the conclusion that the most promising approach to the legal regulation of responsibility for the actions of artificial intelligence is a risk-oriented approach.
