Abstract

In recent years, Russian universities have made significant progress in attracting foreign students, whose total share was 8% of the total student population. The forced transition of universities to the online format highlighted serious problems of ensuring a high-quality educational process for students staying abroad, and also showed the need to use new, digital forms of recruiting international students. The authors of the article structured proposals for optimizing the attraction and training of international students, taking into account digital transformation and the experience gained in the framework of the COVID-19 pandemic.
