Abstract

The issues of monitoring and assessing the level of big data technologies use in the Russian system of public administration have been investigated. To develop a methodology and a conceptual monitoring scheme, as well as to select the appropriate indicators, an analysis of relevant scientific papers indexed by the Web of Science platform over the past 5 years, as well as reports of leading Russian and international organizations engaged in research on monitoring the use of digital technologies in the public administration system was carried out. The results of the analysis showed the lack of unified, universally recognized approaches to assessing and monitoring the use of technologies for working with big data in public authorities. At the same time, the topic is quite relevant, which served as an impetus for carrying out this work.
