Abstract

Ageing population and transformation of the labour market due to digitalization require developing an effective system of professional knowledge updating. The article analyzes the problems of vocational training of Russians seniors. Based on secondary data and the results of monitoring of internal organizational programs of Russian companies, the need to create infrastructural conditions for the training of older people, to address the learning attitudes of elderly, to challenge managerial stereotypes regarding the labour potential and learning capabilities of older employees, and to introduce gerontological education technologies into the Russian organizational practices has been demonstrated.
