Abstract

The article analyzes the possibilities, areas and prospects of using robotics as an element of the technological transformation of the world food system. It focuses on the impact of robotics in the base material and processing sectors to the employment and nature of the economic entities’ relationships. The use of robotics is the material embodiment of many innovative solutions. In the food systems of the world, the technological base is being transformed according to the same laws and trends as in other industries, but the use of robotics produces different effects at different stages of the reproduction process.
