Abstract

Digital transformation of higher education involves changing the processes, models, and communication channels of universities using digital technologies. The current stage of transformation is mainly aimed at creating and developing infrastructure for the digitalization of higher education. MESI University obtained the experience of transforming with the use of new technologies during the formation and development of e-learning. The paper considers the case of MESI on design  of a knowledge management system (KMS) as a digital environment for creating innovations in e-learning. KMS allowed for creating the measurable and manageable processes for development of teaching and learning materials. The set of driving forces behind MESI's technological transformation consists of leadership; organization; technology; a culture of free creation and sharing of knowledge; interaction with external communities; and international cooperation, and public policy.
