Abstract

This article discusses the main trends in the digital transformation of the processes of organizing access to basic information about a citizen; approaches to the creation of a digital profile of a citizen and state systems of electronic identification of a person are explored. The accompanying problems, limitations and development opportunities are also identified. As a result, possible areas of application of the digital profile and personal identification systems were formulated, and the advantages of their use by both the authorities and the population of the country were shown.
