Abstract

There is a comparative and retrospective analysis of online-media and social networking sites (SNS) agendas in the paper. With the help of content analysis of news headlines, the author finds out the most popular topics in online-media agendas and social networking sites. Thanks to a comparative analysis of the results of monitoring news headlines conducted in 2020 and 2019, the author identifies some patterns in terms of the presence or absence of changes in the content of the news agendas of the two online-media and social networking sites. A comparative analysis of the results of monitoring news headlines in 2020 allowed to make a conclusions about the proximity degree of the agendas of the two online-media (including among themselves) and social networking sites
