Digital currency in modern Russia: legal essence and regulation

Abstract

In our country, the digital economy is recognized at the legislative level, computer technologies are intensively used in many areas of public relations. In particular, remote technologies used on the Internet make it possible to execution mathematical calculations and encrypt the data received in the interests of participants in such collective calculations. The collection of electronic data received and stored on their computers is used as a means of payment within such collectives. In addition, participants exchange it for state’s money. The legal essence and regulation of digital currency in modern Russia is an actual object of scientific research, the article provides answers to these questions.
