Abstract

Political and information risks are a state of political practice in the field of smart city development that threatens to disrupt its functioning, determines the threat of a gap between the optimal functions of its management system and their real content. Political and information risks are an objective phenomenon, since they are caused by the development of information technologies. These risks also have a subjective component, because they are the result of the activities of political factors and the political decisions they make. Political and informational risks generate consequences with a negative, neutral or positive sum of results. The article describes the political and information risks that have a negative impact on the model of sustainable development of the “smart city”.
