Information field of Nigeria and Cameroon

The article is set to analyze the peculiarities of the information space in Cameroon and Nigeria, taking into account their geopolitical differences. The main methods used include traditional ones as well as content analysis and sociolinguistic isomorphism. As a result of the study imply that these neighboring countries use the information space differently, with Nigerian information field serving as a uniting bases where a new Сreole is actively used as a new language of intercultural communication, while social networks of Cameroon are characterized by a high degree of confrontation and linguistic differences. Nevertheless, both countries demonstrate a trend to use Facebook as a main information platform.
