Digitalization as a driver of waste management reform in Russia

Abstract

The solid municipal waste management system should be adaptive to constant changes in order to promptly solve the tasks set. To do this, it is necessary to equip a powerful information system that will be filled with information about the formation and movement of waste, utilization of processing facilities, and violations in the functioning of the industry. The problems of the development of a new industry are analyzed taking into account the possibilities of solving with the help of modern digital technologies, database integration and their processing.
