Development of digital competencies for Industry 4.0

Abstract

The use of new technologies that form the basis of Industry 4.0 in enterprises and in the service sector makes it relevant to acquire basic and special digital skills of citizens and improve their skills in this area. The article discusses changes in the labor market under the influence of the fourth industrial revolution, the requirements for specialists, the acquisition of new knowledge and skills by specialists, the development of their digital skills. Problems of Industry 4.0 and approaches to important competencies are analyzed. The methods of competence development of Industry 4.0 and new trends in education are considered.
