Authors are requested to pay attention to the preparation of articles for publication

18.02.2022

Dear authors!

The Information Society journal publishes your articles free of charge, therefore it does not provide services for editing and proofreading texts, translating the necessary materials into English and transliterating the list of references. The authors themselves are responsible for this. This is clearly stated in our Author's Guidelines.

The editors would like to thank those authors who carefully and responsibly treat the editing, proofreading and design of their articles. By doing this, they show respect for the editors and do not force them to do the work for which the authors should be responsible themselves.

Unfortunately, many authors do not think about this and create additional problems for the editors.

Before uploading your material to the system, we ask you to carefully study the Author Guidelines and strictly follow it.

Typical mistakes in the design of articles are the following:

1. The authors submit a "dirty" text - unedited and unread, with grammatical, spelling and stylistic errors.

2. Authors who previously published their materials in our journal use the old template for design. From October 2021, we ask you to use the new template. Please pay attention to this.

2. The authors are trying to put our template on their text, as a result the article gets a completely wrong design. Please take the time to consistently add elements of your article to our template. If the authors do not do this, the editors have to do it instead of them.

3. We do not require translation, but TRANSLITERATION of Cyrillic sources, and this is also clearly stated in our Guidelines. If the authors translate such sources into English, they are wasting their own and editorial time.

4. Authors do not comply with the requirement to provide, along with the article, a letter of consent for the publication of their article in the public domain under a Creative Commons license. The editors have to spend time on additional correspondence on this matter.

We ask our respected authors to strictly follow our rules and thank you for your cooperation!

Sincerely,
Editorial board
