Abstract

The article examines the development of the information society in the direction of information and communication technologies (ICT) usage in households and  by individuals, and examines the dynamics and influence of the general state of the economy on them. A positive trend has been identified in expanding access and use of computer technologies. It is shown that the increase in the share and number of users among households and the individuals has high and very high correlations with gross domestic product. The results obtained make it possible to model the process of digital development and to use it to control, forecast and regulate the achievement of priority tasks of digital transformation.
