Abstract

The article explores the role of informatization in the process of forming consumer cooperatives. Based on a survey of the population (N = 4422), an assessment is made of the level of ownership of information about organizations that support consumer cooperatives. The need to create a single information portal that would ensure the development of cooperatives in each federal district is being investigated. Using correlation analysis (coefficient correlation of Spirmen), the absence of relationships was established: the place of residence of the respondent (in a city or rural settlement) and the need to create a single information portal that would ensure the development of cooperatives in a crisis. It has been proven that the creation of a single information portal is equally relevant for both urban residents and rural residents.
