Abstract

The purpose of the work is to conduct a comparative analysis of the digital counterparts of the regions and substantiate the importance of their use in the digital transformation of regional governance. The scientific novelty lies in the complexity of the comparative analysis of the most significant successfully working digital twins and projects of digital twins of the regions. The article describes the theoretical aspects of digital doubles. The analysis of the digital twin of Singapore, projects in Orlando, in New York and from JSC Rusatom Infrastructure Solutions was carried out. For a more detailed study, the components of the digital doubles of the regions are correlated with the components contained in the full digital double. The favorable social and economic effects that may arise when implementing a digital twin are described.
