Abstract

One of the most important areas of digitalization of the global economy is the implementation of digital currencies of central banks (CBDC) into the sphere of circulation and payments. These currencies have great potential in ensuring the financial sovereignty of states. The article considers the key issues of the introduction and use of the digital ruble (DR) in domestic and international payments. Attention is focused on the need to reduce high cyber risks associated with the functioning of the DR.
