Abstract

In the modern world, the existing variety of information and communication technologies is distributed very unevenly. In the context of the fact that digital technologies still bring more additional benefits to society than harm, the relevance of studying the barriers to informatization is of great importance. These barriers are largely human-centric in nature and serve as the basis for the formation and development of such a social phenomenon as digital nihilism. The author proposes the idea of a possible transformation of the personality of a digital nihilist into a humanitarian subject of the information society as a way to reduce the level of digital inequality.
