The conceptual scheme includes indicators characterizing the available human capital for the digital development of the field of activity, its production, as well as the demand for qualified personnel and their training. A methodology for calculating a composite index for a comparative assessment of the level of human capital development for the digital development of various fields of activity is proposed, and the results of pilot calculating indicators and composite indices for 2022 are presented.
