Abstract

The Russian Arctic has huge natural resources and is also of strategic importance in the context of climate change and sea routes. Russia, adapting its foreign policy strategy to new challenges and opportunities, is currently focusing on the need for digital transformation of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation (AZRF). This article analyzes the importance of the digital transformation of the Russian Arctic and analyzes the digital interests and priorities of the BRICS countries for launching potential joint projects in the Russian Arctic, and identifies the most promising areas of cooperation between Russia and other BRICS countries in this area in the future.
