Abstract

The work summarizes the theoretical foundations of the phenomenon of "information confrontation"; problems of regulatory legal support, the historical aspects of the development of information confrontation are clarified; features of information confrontation in modern sociocultural conditions are revealed; the main sociocultural factors affecting the process of information confrontation are presented; actual techniques, methods of information confrontation are described; attention is focused on the need to strengthen the system of domestic information confrontation; normative legal protective measures against the informational and psychological impact of the opponent are determined.
