Abstract

The article presents current trends in the development of the domestic IT industry in 2024 in the face of unprecedented sanctions pressure in recent years.  The empirical data is based on selected results of the fifteenth round of the annual business monitoring of organizations providing information technology services in Russia. According to the survey results, it can be concluded that despite the combination of various negative external effects that continue to affect operations, the current level of the business climate in the IT industry indicates the success of ongoing transformation processes, which is strengthening year by year. It has been established that for the majority of IT companies - almost 60% — the current global challenges are increasingly becoming a key engine for the growth and development of the entire industry.
