Abstract

The article examines the key stages in the development of Russia’s regulatory framework for digital platforms, analyzing amendments to the Consumer Rights Protection Law and antitrust legislation. It highlights the emergence of systemic regulation for the platform economy and explores prospective approaches to governing ecosystems and self-regulation mechanisms. The conclusions emphasize the need to balance the adaptation of existing legislation to digital platforms’ specificities with innovative strategies to mitigate imbalances in the platform economy.
