Abstract

The article discusses the prospects for the development of urban subculture in the context of the transformation of cities into complex structured sociobiotechnical systems that function according to the model of socio-ecological metabolism. It is proved that the prospects for the socio-cultural development of modern cities are associated with the implementation of two possible scenarios: stable and crisis metabolism. The result of the first one will be the formation of a syncretic subculture that combines technical, technological and social components. The scenario of the crisis metabolism of urban subculture consists in the chaoticization of the process, the aggravation of its internal contradictions and their transformation into conflicts.
