Abstract

This article presents the results of a massive online survey of students (N=517) studying in Kazan, whose cognitive activity is associated with the active use of neuromodels. The leading research method was a questionnaire survey of students aged 18-23 years. It was found that 96% of the respondents actively use neural networks for educational, professional and personal purposes. The epistemic position of the majority of respondents can be assessed as techno-optimism, according to which neural networks are perceived as a convenient tool that optimizes the learning process. The reverse effect of technology on the intellectual sovereignty of the cognizer is not fully realized by students. The authors substantiate the idea of partnership between a cognitive subject and neuromodels based on the retention of an integral intellectual self in the process of cognition, which requires the subject to actualize special cognitive qualities (epistemic trust, epistemic responsibility, intellectual diligence).
