Abstract

This article analyzes the patterns and challenges of digital preservation of cultural heritage in Russia amidst the ongoing digital transformation. It also provides examples of various initiatives related to the private creation and promotion of cultural and historical content. It also examines the social cooperation of individuals interested in creating and promoting Russian cultural heritage in the digital space, including among young people. It summarizes the 15-year empirical experience of the Preserved Culture project and presents ideas and a methodology that can be used by interested parties.
