Overton Window as a Mean of Dehumanization of the West in the Information Society

Abstract

Modern Western values are undergoing a creeping transformation. There is an aggressive attack on the healthy culture of “new values”. Sexual promiscuity, tolerance to homosexuality, same-sex marriage and other phenomena leading to dehumanization of the society are being promoted. Influential transnational actors spread new values with the purpose of dehumanization of population of the whole countries, atomization of the societies, depopulation, neutralization of social protest against the treacherous transnational capital. The article presents the mechanism of the “Overton window” technology implementation based on the example of the new values advocacy in the West. The novelty of the author’s approach is the determination of ideas-goals and ideas-means in the “Overton window” mechanism functioning.
