Abstract

The research question empiric analysis, the results of which are shown in the article was the identification of the relationship between formal and informal, commercial and volunteer, host and intolerance in the online communication network of the Runet on the problems of labor migration. The solution of this problem was concerning to the use of the method of analysis of graphs of social-media groups of blogohosting "Vkontakte", discussing the problems of migration (using the author's software "Social graph"). The analyzed characteristics and structure of interaction of participants of relevant communities indicate a weak density of links between online groups focused on the discussion of voluntary assistance to migrants, and, on the contrary, the relationship between participants of digital communities, spreading anti-migration rhetoric, discourses of risk-taking migration flows in the Russian Federation is quite strong. The article also provides empirical evidence that the Runet is dominated by the informal and predominantly commercial nature of communication on external migrant workers, which compensates for the lack of formal practices aimed at the adaptation of migrants
