Keywords:

The article is set to analyze neologisms in the Internet environment to determine the socio-political trends of the current moment. The author's method of sociolinguistic isomorphism is proposed to establish current realities, as reflecting an objective picture in unofficial sources of the information environment. The study is based on neologisms, thematically related to the new social realities in the Russian and British Internet space, and reflecting the perception of the political situation around the Russian-Ukrainian crisis. The results of the study reflect the predominance of exclusively social problems in the British information field and a high degree of politicization in the Russian Internet environment.
