Abstract

The article examines the importance of developing creative thinking in the younger generation as a means of preparing in-demand personnel in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Innovative educational strategies and technologies are described to prepare students to realize all stages of engineering activities from goal-setting and planning to the creation of a final, practically relevant product. The content of the educational program in robotics, which is focused on creating situations of design problem solving and teaching design and programming, is considered. Examples are given of some robot models created by the designers.
