Abstract

The article considers the set of concepts of the business model of a commercial enterprise in the context of their essential characteristics and basic structural elements. The first part of the study presents various interpretations of the essence of the business model in the works of domestic and foreign scientists. A study of generalized business models inherent, among other things, in industrial enterprises is given. The paper presents an analysis and comparison of business models of various enterprises operating in the digital economy, with a description of specific practical examples. The augmented framework and the author's structural and logical scheme of the industrial enterprise business model components that meets the requirements of competition in the digital economy are proposed.
